Surrender before Sufiyan
Let it be known that Zimbabwe's decision proved costly in the second T20 International match on Tuesday. Zimbabwe openers Brian Bennett (21) and Tadivanashe Marumani (16) gave the team a solid start with a 37-run partnership. Abbas Afridi gave Pakistan its first success by hunting Maruni.
Sufiyan's spin shines
Left-arm spinner Sufiyan Muqeem shone for Pakistan, taking five wickets for just 3 runs in 2.4 overs. Sufyan made Ryan Burl (1), Clive Madande (9), Tashinga Musekiw (0), Wellington Masakadza (3) and Richard Ngarawa (0) his victims. Apart from this, Abbas Afridi took two wickets for 2 runs including one maiden in 2 overs. Harris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed and Salman Agha got one wicket each.
Pakistan captured the series
Chasing the easy target of 58 runs, Pakistan did not take much time to register victory. Pakistani openers completed the game in just 33 balls. Omar Yusuf (22*) and Sam Ayyub (36*) batted aggressively. Yusuf scored unbeaten 22 runs in 15 balls with the help of 2 fours and a six. Ayyub scored 36 runs in 18 balls with the help of 6 fours and one six.
