Sandhya Singh, daughter of Vinod Singh of Madnapur Rasidpur village, Ekta Mishra of Awas Vikas Colony and Ambika of Tilhar secured places in the district level trials of women's cricket under-23. He has been selected for the zonal trials to be held in Lucknow. Middle-order batsman Sandhya has started practicing at Sahara Stadium Lucknow. Left handed opener batsman Ekta is also preparing on the grounds of SS College.

Ambika had performed brilliantly with off-spin bowling in the district trials. Shahjahanpur Cricket Association coach Dr. Manoj Yadav said that the date of zonal trial will be announced soon. Here all three players will show their strength. If selected from here, you will get a chance in Kanpur Trial.
