Women T20 World Cup Start Date India Schedule: Women's T20 World Cup 2024 has been a topic of discussion for the last several months. Earlier this tournament was to be held in Bangladesh, but after student protests there, the hosting of the World Cup was handed over to UAE. A total of 10 teams are participating in the Women's World Cup, which will run from October 3-20. India is in Group A
Women's T20 World Cup will start from October 3. The first match of the tournament will be played between Bangladesh and Scotland on 3 October. The second match of the same day will be between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. India has been placed in Group A along with Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. The second group includes Bangladesh, Scotland, England, South Africa and West Indies.
India's first match will be with New Zealand on October 4. The India-Pakistan mega-match on 6th October will be eager to enthrall the cricket world. Team India will play Sri Lanka on 9 October and its last match in the group stage will be against Australia on 13 October.
4 October – India vs New Zealand
6 October – India vs Pakistan
9 October – India vs Sri Lanka
13 October – India vs Australia
India has never become world champion
The Indian men's team has won the T20 World Cup in 2024, so the women's team will also enter the field with increased morale with the intention of winning the trophy. While the men's team has become T20 World Cup winner twice, the women's team has never won the World Cup in the shorter format till date. A total of 8 tournaments have been held in the Women's T20 World Cup, but Team India has not lifted the trophy even once till date. Even India has reached the finals only once, on that occasion it lost to Australia, which has been the champion for the last three times.
