Mohammed Shami Reaction Border Gavaskar Trophy: Team India's squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy was announced on Friday. Mohammed Shami's name was not included in the 18-member squad. But Shami is not fully fit yet and that is why he was not included in the squad. Meanwhile, Shami has apologized to the fans and BCCI because he failed to regain fitness.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, this right-arm fast bowler shared a video on Instagram, in which he is busy gaining fitness through workout and wrote in the caption,

I am working hard to improve my bowling fitness day by day. I will continue to work hard to get match ready and play domestic red ball cricket. Sorry to all the cricket fans and BCCI, but very soon I am ready to play red ball cricket, my love to you all.

Before playing matches at the international level, Shami can be seen playing some matches in Ranji Trophy, for which he is now saying that he is completely prepared.

Talking about the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, it will start from November 22 with the match to be played in Perth. This time five matches will be played in the series. In Shami's absence, bowlers like Akashdeep, Prasidh Krishna, Harshit Rana have been made part of the squad.
