The senior Bengal team will host Kerala in the third round match of Ranji Trophy on Saturday at the second ground of Jadavpur University campus in Kolkata. CAB is hopeful that BCCI will accept their request with a slightly longer gap between matches for this season. After the match between Bengal and Kerala, both the teams will get a break of about a week before their next encounter. Kerala will head back home to host Uttar Pradesh from November 6 for their fourth round match, while Bengal will take on Karnataka in Bengaluru from November 6.
Bengal-Bihar match has been canceled
The Bengal Under-23 team will host Railways Under-23 from October 27 to 30 at the Bengal Cricket Academy Ground in Kalyani, near Kolkata, where the recent Bengal vs Bihar Ranji Trophy match was completely washed out due to heavy rains. Their next match will be against Vidarbha in Nagpur from November 8 to 11, giving them a week's break in between. Meanwhile, the Bengal senior team will be without Abhimanyu Easwaran, Abhishek Porel and Mukesh Kumar for the next few rounds of Ranji Trophy as they have been selected for India A's tour of Australia.
