Sonipat. The team of Uttar Pradesh became the overall winner in the National Junior Tennis Ball Cricket Competition held at SM Hindu Senior Secondary School. In the closing ceremony, MLA Nikhil Madan, as the chief guest, honored the winning team with a trophy.
State Tennis Ball Cricket Association General Secretary Surendra Singh said that the Uttar Pradesh team was the winner in both the boys and girls categories of the competition. Among boys, the Goa team became the runner-up while the teams of Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh jointly stood at the third position. Whereas, Jammu and Kashmir team was the runner up among girls. The teams of Goa and Rajasthan stood third. Chief guest MLA Nikhil Madan said that the central and state governments are continuously promoting sports. During this, Nikhilesh, SK Pandian, Vishal Singh, CK Naidu, Santosh Prasad, Wasim Ahmed, Murshid Khan, Himanshu, Manish Saini, Prachi, Nisha, Shivani, Pinky, Rituraj and Gurpreet were present.
