New Delhi: Jhansi District Cricket Association (JDCA) President and Divisional Sports Secretary, North Central Railway, Jhansi, Arvind Kapoor has been appointed as the manager of the Indian team by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He will be the manager of Indian cricket for the three-match Test series between India vs New Zealand to be played in Bengaluru, Pune and Mumbai from October 16.
Arvind Kapoor has also worked as the local manager of the Indian team in the recently held India vs Bangladesh Test match in Kanpur. Apart from this, he has been appointed by BCCI and Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) as official and other important posts of various teams in many international and IPL matches played in Kanpur and Lucknow.
Arvind Kapoor had earlier also been an observer in the India vs Australia Test match played by BCCI in Ahmedabad in the year 2023, in the Test and One Day series played between India A vs New Zealand A team in Visakhapatnam in the year 2017, in which Rahul Dravid was named in the Indian A team.
