In the Divisional Cricket Association Under-15 boys category match, Seoni team performed better and defeated Katni in the final match. Team captain Faiz Kabir told at 4:30 pm on Monday that the final cricket match held in Imlikheda, Jabalpur will be between Katni and Seoni.
Captain Faiz Kabir won the toss and decided to bat first. In which Seoni team scored 202 runs losing 10 wickets. Seoni District had a disappointing start in the first innings. Seoni had lost 4 wickets in 8 runs. Later captain Faiz Kabir made a partnership of 34 runs for the 5th wicket with Tanishk Kumar. Together they scored 91 runs.
On the first day, thanks to captain Faiz Kabir's 85 runs, Tanishk Kumar's 47 runs and Tanish Singh's 28 runs, 202 runs were scored after losing 10 wickets. Katni's team, which came to play the counter innings, could not stand against the bowlers of Seoni. Katni scored only 140 runs losing 10 wickets. For Katni, Vikas Mehra scored 27 runs and Abhedya Singh scored 24 runs.
For Seoni team, Tanishk Singh took 5 wickets for 36 runs in 25 overs. Whereas Rushil Khedikar took 3 wickets for 18 runs in 11 overs while Harsh and Munish took one wicket each. In this way Seoni took a lead of 62 runs in the first innings. Seoni team came to play the second innings and scored 86 runs losing 5 wickets.
For Seoni, Mohit Marco scored 15 runs, Ekansh Tivan scored 11 runs, Amrutya Tiwari scored 8 runs while captain Faiz scored 11 not out and Tanish Kumar scored 17 not out. In this way Seoni team registered a historic victory. Seoni's team had reached Jabalpur under the guidance of coach Shubham Tiwari.
