The first match was between Surbhi Vidya Niketan School and St. George's School State Board.
Two exciting matches were played today in the Maharishi Inter School Cricket Tournament 2024-25 being played in the premises of Maharishi Center for Educational Excellence, Lambakheda. St. George and Siddharth Public Schools registered resounding victories in both the matches.
Vishesh Meena was given the Man of the Match award for his excellent batting.
The first match was between Surbhi Vidya Niketan School and St. George's School State Board. Batting first, Surbhi Vidya Niketan scored 105 runs losing 5 wickets in 10 overs. After this, the team of St. George's School, which came to chase the target, won the match by scoring 106 runs after losing 2 wickets in only 6 overs. Vishesh Meena's batting from St. George's School was excellent, scoring 66 runs in just 20 balls. For his explosive performance he was given the Man of the Match award.
Sagar Chaturvedi was given man of the match for his good performance.
The second match took place between Siddharth Public School Anand Nagar and St. George School CBSE. Siddharth Public School, batting first, scored 117 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 10 overs. Chasing the target, St. George CBSE team could score only 80 runs in 8 overs and lost the match. Sagar Chaturvedi from Siddharth Public School performed brilliantly by scoring 20 runs in 11 balls and taking 3 wickets for 17 runs in 3 overs. He was awarded the Man of the Match award.
The second match took place between Siddharth Public School Anand Nagar and St. George School CBSE.
