Two young players from the special backward Kamar tribe category of tribal dominated district Gariaband have been selected for the state level cricket competition. They will bring glory to Gariaband district in the 24th State Level School Sports Competition to be held in Korba from 21st to 24th October. According to the information, Hiraundi Kanwar and Arjun Sori, living in village road Parsuli, a tribal dominated area, 10 km away from the district headquarters, will lead the Raipur division in the 19 years age group. He has left for Korba with the coach to participate in the competition on Sunday. It is known that Chhattisgarh has been divided into 5 parts of the state level competition. Which includes Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, Bastar, Surguja divisions.

Hiraundi Kawar and Arjun are the first youth from the special backward Kamar tribe category of Sori district who have been selected for the state level competition. Tribal areas where there is lack of proper facilities for playing cricket. Here both of them practiced cricket regularly for years. Due to his dedication and hard work he was successful in securing a place in the level competition. Both the students credited their success to the school principal F.
