Three exciting matches were played today in the Maharishi Inter School Cricket Tournament being played in the premises of Maharishi Center for Educational Excellence, Lambakheda, in which the schools won the hearts of the audience with their excellent batting and bowling.
The first match was won by St. George School by 18 runs, the second match was won by Prerna Kiran Public School by 6 wickets, while the third match was played between IPS International Public School and Siddharth Public School, which Siddharth Public School won by 5 wickets.

The first match was played between St. George's School (CBSE) and St. Montfort. St. George School won the toss and batted first and scored 96 runs losing 8 wickets in 10 overs. In reply, St. Montfort's team could score only 78 runs after losing 9 wickets in 10 overs. In this way St. George School won by 18 runs. Devesh bowled brilliantly for St. George's School and took 3 wickets for 13 runs in 3 overs. He was given the Man of the Match award.
The second match took place between Sagar Public School Gandhi Nagar and Prerna Kiran School.

Prerna Kiran Public School, chasing the target, won by 6 wickets in just 4 overs and 4 balls. Harsh Mandloi played a brilliant inning of 54 runs in just 11 balls for Prerna Kiran Public School and was awarded the Man of the Match award.
The third match was played between IPS International Public School and Siddharth Public School.
The third match was played between IPS International Public School and Siddharth Public School. Batting first, IPS scored 92 runs losing 8 wickets in 10 overs. Siddharth Public School team chased the target and won by 5 wickets in 8 overs and 4 balls. Nitin of Siddharth Public School took 2 wickets for 18 runs in 2 overs in bowling and then while batting, played a brilliant inning of 28 runs in just 2 balls. He was given the Man of the Match award.
Today's matches added to the excitement of the Maharishi Inter School Cricket Tournament, and gave the spectators an opportunity to get lost in the magical world of the game. There are still more matches left in the tournament, which will definitely be even more interesting.
