Our youngsters who are making their career in the field of cricket will now be able to get good training in the capital Lucknow itself. indian cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma's first cricket academy has started at Birla Open Mind International School, Ayodhya Road. In this academy, the children will be trained by the trainers of Rohit Sharma and along with the school children, other children from the nearby societies will also be given training.

Birla Open Mind International School Ayodhya Road organized a two-day cricket competition between various residential societies around the school. A total of 8 teams participated in this competition. The final match took place between the teams of Parijat Apartment Gomti Nagar Ayodhya Road and Shalimar Paradise Ayodhya Road. In which Parijat Apartment got first place and Shalimar Paradise team got second place. The inauguration of the academy and distribution of prizes to the winning team was done by the chief guest, regional MLA Yogesh Shukla. As special guests in the program, Rohit Sharma's brother Vishal Sharma and cricket coach Nasir Khan provided complete information to the children about their cricket academy.

The program was mainly attended by President of the school institution Ram Shankar Verma, Director Niket Verma, Director Saumya Choudhary, Principal Dr. Vibha Ahuja, Gomti Nagar Councilor Shailendra Verma, Ismailganj II Councilor Harish Awasthi, Anora village head Amit Yadav along with various other people. Respected residents of apartments and societies were present in large numbers.
