Pakistan cricket team defeated Australia cricket team by 9 wickets in the second ODI.

Haris Rauf (5/29) was the hero of Pakistan's victory in the match played in Adelaide. He became the sixth bowler for Pakistan to take 5 wicket haul against host Australia.

He became only the fourth Pakistani among fast bowlers to do so.

Haris Rauf (5/29, Adelaide, 2024)

Rauf achieved his first success in the form of Jose Inglis (18). After this he took the wickets of Marnus Labuschagne (6), Aaron Hardy (14), Glenn Maxwell (16) and Pat Cummins (13).

While bowling lethally, he gave 29 runs in his 8 overs.

Rauf, famous for his fast pace, took 5 wicket haul for the second time in his cricket career.

So far he has taken 77 wickets in 39 ODIs at an average of 24.90.

Wasim Akram (5/21, Melbourne, 1985)

Former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram gave his best performance in the Melbourne ODI against Australia in 1985.

Chasing 263 runs to win, the host team had a very poor start as Akram dismissed 5 top-order batsmen.

Akram, famous for his swing bowling, had achieved these successes by giving 21 runs in his 8 overs.

Ultimately Pakistan had won that match.

Shoaib Akhtar (5/25, Brisbane, 2002)

Pakistan registered a huge victory of 91 runs in the 2002 Brisbane match. The Australian team had failed to achieve the target of 257 runs to win.

In that match, Shoaib Akhtar opened his account by dismissing Ricky Ponting and then dismissed Damien Martyn, Darren Lehmann, Michael Bevan and Jason Gillespie.
