So far, a total of 28 batsmen have scored triple centuries in the golden history of Test cricket. Out of these, there are only 4 players who have achieved the feat of scoring 2 triple centuries each.

Among these, there have been some players who have achieved success in scoring triple centuries even while batting at number 5 or lower.

Don Bradman (vs England, 1934)

Don Bradman, the great batsman of the Australian cricket team, had scored a triple century while batting at number-5 against the England cricket team.

He scored 304 runs in 473 balls in the Leeds Test in 1934. In this marathon innings, he hit 43 fours and 2 sixes.

He scored 6,996 runs in his Test career at an average of 99.94, which also included 2 triple centuries.

Michael Clarke (vs India, 2012)

Michael Clarke of Australia scored his triple century in the Test played against the Indian cricket team in 2012.

He scored 329 runs while batting at number 5 in the Sydney Test. This was the highest score of his Test career.

With the help of his innings, Australia declared its only innings at the score of 659/4. In that match, India was defeated by an innings and 68 runs.

Brendon McCullum (vs India, 2014)

Former New Zealand wicketkeeper batsman Brendon McCullum scored the only triple century of his Test career against the Indian team in 2014.

Batting at number 5, he scored 302 runs in 559 balls during his second innings in the match held in Wellington. He also hit 32 fours and 4 sixes in his innings.

McCullum had scored 8 runs in the first innings and the match was ultimately a draw.

Karun Nair (vs England, 2016)

India's Karun Nair had scored a brilliant unbeaten 303 runs against England in 2016. He also hit 32 fours and 4 sixes in his innings.

He played this innings while playing at number 5.

He is the second player after Virender Sehwag (2 times) to score a triple century for India in Test cricket.

He scored 374 runs in 6 Tests at an average of 62.33 and 46 runs in 2 ODIs at an average of 23.00.

Harry Brook (vs Pakistan, 2024)

England's Harry Brook recently played an inning of 317 runs against the Pakistan cricket team. Batting at number 5, he hit 29 fours and 3 sixes.

Batting aggressively, Brook completed his triple century in 278 balls. This is the second fastest triple century in history.

Thanks to his triple century, England declared their innings at 823/7. In the end England won that match.
