The current record is 1,03,440, which was set during the 2006–07 Ashes Test at the 'WACA' Stadium. To surpass this number, 39,771 viewers are needed in the next three days. A record 31,302 spectators were present at the stadium on the first day of the Test, surpassing the single-day record of 22,178 achieved at the 'WACA' on the second day of the 2017 Ashes Test.
