New Delhi. A cricketer died during a cricket match. 35-year-old professional cricketer Imran Patel died suddenly of a heart attack during a cricket match played in Pune on Wednesday night. In the league match, Patel entered the field as an opening batsman at Garware Stadium. After playing a few overs, he complained of chest pain to the umpire. After talking to the umpire, he started going towards the pavilion. After this he fell. All these moments of Patel were captured by the camera. Patel was immediately taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Another cricketer Nasir Khan said, 'He did not have any such disease before. He was completely healthy. He was an all-rounder and loved the game very much. We are still in shock. Can't understand how all this happened suddenly. Patel is survived by his wife and three daughters. His youngest daughter is only 4 months old. Patel's last rites were performed near Maulana Azad College. He had his own cricket team. He has a real estate business and his own juice shop.

Imran Patel died in the same manner as Habib Sheikh died while playing a match. Habib died while playing a match in Pune on 7 September. Habib was diabetic. In recent times, such incidents are continuously coming to the fore in cricket.
