The meeting of Basuki Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament Committee was held under the chairmanship of labor leader cum patron Omprakash Singh at Maubhandar Sports Club premises. In the meeting, it was decided to organize the 30th cricket tournament in the memory of late labor leader Comrade Basuki Singh from the last week of November. It was decided that like before, an entry fee of Rs 5000 will be collected to participate in the cricket tournament. Entry will run from 1st December to 10th November. The winning team of the tournament will be given Rs 1.5 lakh, the runner-up team will be given Rs 1 lakh and the other two teams playing the semi-finals will be given Rs 40,000 each along with the trophy. Besides, the players who perform best in the tournament will also be individually rewarded. The semi-final and final matches of the tournament will be held under floodlights on 27 and 28 December. On the spot, it was decided to reinstate the old committee.
