Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: Thanks to productive batting, Career Lions won full points by defeating Cricket Buddies Cricket Club by five wickets in the 3rd Adhir Dubey Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament. Cricket Buddies batted first at Pandit Rash Bihari Tiwari Stadium and scored 180 runs for 5 wickets in the stipulated overs. Noor scored an unbeaten half century of 77 runs with 11 fours and two sixes.
Earlier, opening batsman Karunesh Upadhyay played an explosive inning of 46 runs with eight fours. Anil Lal took two wickets from Carrier Lions. In reply, Carrier Lions won the match by scoring 181 runs for 5 wickets in 18.1 overs. Afzal led the team by adding 38 runs, Afsar Siddiqui 35, Azim Rehman 21 and Ehsan 16 runs. Man of the Match award went to Afzal of Career Lions.
