Sunil Gavaskar Slams Gautam Gambhir Fans: The second test match between India and Bangladesh was played in Kanpur. After the first 3 days were affected by rain, the Indian team played aggressive cricket and won by 7 wickets in just 2 days. This style of Team India was called 'Roball' and 'Gamball' because of the pairing of Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir. Now veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has expressed strong objection to these words.
Sunil Gavaskar believes that the change in the Indian team has come because of Rohit Sharma. According to Sportstar, Gavaskar said, “Someone called Indian batting 'Bossball' because the team captain or 'Boss' Rohit has shown a new path to the Indian team. Someone also called it 'Gamball' after the name of Indian coach Gautam Gambhir. Said.” Gavaskar believes that Gambhir's style was fearless, but his style in batting was never the way Team India played in Kanpur.
Sunil Gavaskar criticized Gambhir
Sunil Gavaskar has called the new style of playing of the Indian team 'Gohit'. He has created it by combining the name of captain Rohit Sharma and the fearless style of Team India. He said, “First of all, I hold captain Rohit Sharma responsible for the fearless style of the Indian team. According to me, this is the 'GoHit' method. I believe that people who have brains will not play useless things like 'Baseball'. “We will come up with an interesting name instead of an alternative.” Even though cricket fans have been divided into two groups due to the new approach of the Indian team, Team India is now playing cricket in a very aggressive style. The entire team clearly intends to dominate.
