In this regard, Ad Hoc panel member Dharamveer Singh Shekhawat said, we want the players of Rajasthan to perform better. Want to promote the players. Lomror and Suthar meet all the criteria. We also felt that Hooda is under pressure from captaincy, due to which he is not able to perform well. However, according to some sources in the Rajasthan Cricket Association, these changes in the Rajasthan team are related to the alleged differences between the senior players and the management.
It is noteworthy that 29-year-old Hooda was earlier associated with the Baroda team and was associated with Rajasthan during the 2021-22 season. Whereas Deepak Chahar started his career with Rajasthan team, but he is seen as an outsider. The reason for this is that Deepak Chahar originally comes from Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy will start from 23rd November and will continue till 15th December. Rajasthan are in Group A of the tournament, which will start its campaign against Bihar in Rajkot.
