State level blind cricket tournament started in Meerut, players showed their strength

Meerut: A special blind cricket tournament has started from Monday at Kailash Prakash Stadium in the district. Teams from 8 districts of Western UP including Meerut are participating in this cricket tournament. A large number of spectators reached here to watch the competition. This state level tournament will conclude on October 24. The tournament was inaugurated by Dr. Somendra Tomar, Minister of State for Energy, State Government. In the inaugural match, Meerut team defeated Mathura team and registered victory. Teams from Meerut, Shamli, Banda, Mathura, Lucknow, Kanpur, Fatehpur and Aligarh are participating in the tournament.
