Sri Lanka National Cricket Team vs West Indies National Cricket Team 2nd ODI Match Scorecard: The second match of the three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka national cricket team vs West Indies national cricket team was played today i.e. on 23 October. This match between the two teams was played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele. In the second ODI, Sri Lanka defeated West Indies by five wickets and took a 2-0 lead. The command of Sri Lanka is in the hands of Charith Asalanka. Whereas West Indies is being captained by Shai Hope. Sri Lankan team had to score 190 runs in 44 overs to win this match. The Sri Lankan team, which came to chase the target, had a disappointing start and the team suffered two major setbacks at just 25 runs. Sri Lankan team achieved the target by losing five wickets in just 38.2 overs. Captain Charith Asalanka once again played the captaincy innings for Sri Lanka.

Charit Asalanka played an excellent inning of 62 unbeaten runs in just 61 balls with the help of seven fours and one six. Apart from Charit Asalanka, Sadira Samarawickrama and Nishan Madushka scored 38-38 runs. Alzarri Joseph gave the first success to the West Indies team. For West Indies, Alzarri Joseph took the maximum of two wickets. Apart from Alzarri Joseph, Gudakesh Moti and Roston Chase took one wicket each. The third and last ODI match between Sri Lanka and West Indies will be played on Saturday i.e. 26 October.
