Sri Lanka National Cricket Team vs New Zealand National Cricket Team, 1st ODI Match Scorecard: The first match of the three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka national cricket team vs New Zealand national cricket team was played on 13 November. Meanwhile, in the first ODI, Sri Lankan captain Charith Asalanka won the toss and decided to bat first. Sri Lankan team, who came to bat first after winning the toss, had a disappointing start and got the first big blow on the score of just 17 runs. Sri Lankan team scored 324 runs losing five wickets in 49.2 overs. For Sri Lanka, Kusal Mendis played the highest innings of 143 runs. During this brilliant innings, Kusal Mendis hit 17 fours and two sixes in 128 balls. Apart from Kusal Mendis, Avishka Fernando scored 100 runs.
On the other hand, Jacob Duffy gave the first major success to the New Zealand team. For New Zealand, Jacob Duffy took the maximum of three wickets.
