South African bowler rejected central contract for franchise cricket! Said this in his statement

Sports Desk, New Delhi. Left-arm wrist spinner Tabraiz Shamsi on Thursday decided to withdraw from Cricket South Africa's (CSA) central contract pool. So that he can participate in T-20 leagues and franchise cricket around the world. However, he said in his statement that he will be available to play for South Africa in white ball cricket and ICC tournaments.

The South African Cricket Board said in a statement that Shamsi revealed that he is withdrawing his name from the central contract to play franchise cricket. However, he also said that he would play cricket for South Africa whenever his country needed him. At the same time, Shamsi has also confirmed this in his statement.

Shamsi said this in his statement

Shamsi said, I have decided to step down from my central contract to have more flexibility during the domestic season so that I can take advantage of all the available opportunities and take care of my family in the best possible way. Shamsi, however, reiterated his commitment to South African cricket and expressed hope of being a part of the World Cup-winning team in the future.
