On the third day of the state level competition held in Gaya, the team of Sitamarhi defeated the team of East Champaran. The Under-19 cricket tournament was played between the teams of East Champaran and Sitamarhi on Friday. In which the captain of East Champaran won the toss and decided to bat first.
Batting first, East Champaran team scored 50 runs in just 9.4 overs and were all out. Priyanshu took 3 wickets from Sitamarhi team. Whereas Vaibhav, Raghav, and Chhotu took 2-2 wickets. Sitamarhi team, chasing the target, achieved the target in just 6.2 overs. In this, Afzal contributed a brilliant 32 runs and Shayan contributed 7 unbeaten runs. Priyanshu was selected as the player of the match.
