Nepal Premier League T20 2024: Shikhar Dhawan, the former opener of the Indian National Cricket Team, who won everyone's hearts with his explosive batting and his special style on the cricket field, is going to start a new journey. Recently he has signed an agreement with Nepal Premier League (NPL) team Karnali Yaks. This step of Dhawan has not only surprised his fans but has also increased the curiosity among the cricket fans as to how his 'Gabbar style' will work on the soil of Nepal. Shikhar Dhawan's decision to join the Nepal Premier League comes soon after he was released by his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Punjab Kings (PBKS). In IPL 2024, Dhawan played only 5 matches for Punjab Kings, in which he scored 152 runs. The strike rate with his bat was 125.62, but unfortunately due to an injury, he was out of the rest of the season. Dhawan, known as 'Gabbar' for a long time in the history of IPL, has now decided to show his ability in Nepal. Karnali Yax announced its agreement with Dhawan on social media platform X. His post read, “Gabbar's explosive energy has now been added to Karnali Yax. Shikhar Dhawan is ready to create a stir in the Nepal Premier League with his powerful game and experience. Now everyone get ready because Gabbar has arrived. .”
