Adhikta Rautela Selected for Indian One Day Cricket Team

Adhikta Rautela is originally from Maithra village of Bageshwar district. Earlier, Adhikta was selected in the Arunachal Senior Women's One Day Cricket Team and Adhikta will play from Arunachal in the upcoming tournament to be held from 4th December to 16th December. Adhikta is practicing at Neeraj Rathore's NRCA Cricket Academy located in Banjarwala, Dehradun. Adhikta is a right-handed batsman and also keeps wickets.

Also nominated for International Peace Award

Subedar late Major Pratap Singh Rautela, resident of Bageshwar, is the father of Adhikta. Adhikata Rautela, the talented daughter of late Major and Parvati Devi, studied from ADAMS School in Almora district. He was also nominated for the International Peace Award for his participation in social work. After losing his father, Adhikta and his family settled in Ramnagar in Nainital district. Adhikta says that with the encouragement of her mother Parvati Devi and the guidance of her brother-in-law Vikram Negi, who is working in the army, she started playing cricket professionally. Now Adhikta has been selected in the Indian Senior Women's ODI Cricket Team.
