Sachin Tendulkar meets Vinod Kambli Ramakant Achrekar Memorial: 2 January 2019 was the day when veteran coach Ramakant Achrekar died. Now a memorial dedicated to Achrekar has been unveiled in Mumbai on 3 December 2024, where legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar met his friend Vinod Kambli. Both Sachin and Kambli took training from Ramakant Achrekar in their childhood and later both played for the Indian national team. Meanwhile, a video is going viral on social media, in which both the friends were seen talking to each other.

In the video shared by PTI, Sachin Tendulkar is seen talking to Vinod Kambli. Seeing Kambli's weak condition, it seemed as if his health was not good. It seemed as if it was difficult for him to even get up from the chair. Let us tell you that a few days ago another video of Vinod Kambli had surfaced, in which he was unable to walk on his own. For this reason, people on the internet had expressed concern about his health.

Vinod Kambli is facing financial crisis

Vinod Kambli had made a big revelation a few years ago that he was facing financial crisis. His family survives on the money that BCCI gives them as pension. BCCI gives him Rs 30,000 as pension. Kambli has also worked as a mentor in Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy, but Nerul was very far from his home due to which he was forced to leave the job of mentor.

Vinod Kambli had scored 2,477 runs in 104 ODI matches for India. He also has 2 centuries and 14 fifties to his name in ODI cricket. His figures in Test cricket were excellent as he scored 1,084 runs in 21 innings of 17 Test matches. His test average was 54.20 and in his short test career he had scored 4 centuries and 3 fifties.
