The second match of the India vs New Zealand three-match Test series is being played in Pune. On the third day of the match, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja stole the show. Jadeja completed a brilliant run out with three wickets to wrap up New Zealand's innings at 255 runs. This run out of Jadeja reminded the fans of MS Dhoni because Jaddu showed Dhoni-like finesse during this period. Let us tell you, New Zealand has set a target of 359 runs for India to win. Team India has chased the target of more than 300 runs only once at home.
In the 70th over, Glenn Phillips played a shot towards covers on the fourth ball of Ravindra Jadeja and scored two runs. Washington Sundar posted there looked a little slow in fielding. When he felt that the Kiwi batsman was running away for two runs, he threw a quick throw at the bowling end. By then Jadeja had expressed his disappointment over Sundar's fielding.
As soon as the throw reached Jadeja, instead of catching the ball, he pushed it towards the wicket. Even Virat Kohli was surprised to see this cleverness of Jadeja. The umpire immediately handed over the decision to the third umpire and he found that the batsman was out of the crease when the ball hit the wicket.
Let us tell you, New Zealand, batting first in this match, had scored 259 runs, in response to which India was reduced to 156 runs in the first innings. Now New Zealand scored 255 runs in the second innings, giving India a target of 359 runs.
