Yash Dhull continued his excellent form and scored his second century of the season, but left-arm spinner Nishank Birla took six wickets as Chandigarh bowled out Delhi for 276 runs in the first innings on the opening day of the Ranji Trophy Group D match on Wednesday. At stumps, Chandigarh scored 63 runs after losing one wicket. Shivam Bhambri was present at the crease after scoring 42 runs. Dhull, who scored a century against Tamil Nadu, scored 121 runs facing 190 balls and added 96 runs with Ayush Badoni. Badoni scored 49 runs in 50 balls with three sixes. But Delhi's middle order again flopped in which captain Himmat Singh again failed to open the account. Kshitij Sharma (02) again could not do anything amazing. Shivank Vashishtha (31 runs) and Hrithik Shaukeen (16) added 35 runs for the ninth wicket, taking Delhi to 275 runs.

Khanduri's century, Uttarakhand scored 232 runs for one wicket.

Vijayanagar (Andhra).
