A two-day box cricket tournament was started on Saturday by Rotary International District 3056. The Box Cricket Tournament located at Sahakar Marg was started by District Governor Dr. Rakhi Gupta by cutting the ribbon. After this he played the first ball and started the tournament.

Advocate Ashok Goyal, President of Rotary Club Jaipur Bapu Nagar said that 12 teams from the entire state are participating in this tournament. In this, men and women are playing equally. He said- Along with the wonderful works of service, Rotary keeps organizing many recreational and sports events all over the world to increase fellowship and relations among the members.

Tournament Chairman Eng. PC Sanghi said that in this tournament 12 teams have been divided into four categories. Three teams in each category participated till 9 pm tonight. Tomorrow on Sunday, the winning teams will play quarter, semi and final matches. Today's first match was between Bapunagar Hawks and Predators.

Tournament coordinator Brijesh Gupta said that along with the start of the match, the winner trophy, man of the match trophy and other trophies were also launched.

Club Secretary Basant Jain said that the special thing about this tournament was that players of all ages participated in it. While 24 year old players were playing, players above 60 years of age showed their fitness by playing.

On this occasion, Rotary District General Secretary Alok Aggarwal, Pankaj Gupta, District Vice Chairman RS Gupta, Rotary Club Jaipur President Girdhar Maheshwari, Secretary Piyush Jain, Vice President Shilpa Bendre, Rotary Club Citizen President Dinesh Budge and hundreds of other members were present. boosted the players' enthusiasm
