Rai Cricket Academy President Ajit Tongad said that a T-20 cricket match was played between Rai Cricket Academy and RIS XI cricket team on the playing field of Hindu High Senior Secondary School. In this, Rai Cricket Academy defeated RIS XI team by five wickets in a thrilling match.
Playing first, RIS XI team scored 222 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs, in which Tanmay played a brilliant inning of 151 runs in 74 balls. Apart from this, Bhavya contributed 23 runs and Ishant contributed 15 runs. Bowling for Rai Cricket Academy, India took 3 wickets and Toshik, Dheeraj, Divya Gurjar, Luv took 1 wicket each.
Now Rai Cricket Academy was facing the target of 223 runs in 20 overs. Academy's 13-year-old opener batsman Yuvraj Tongad scored 106 runs on 55 balls and Tanmay's 151 runs achieved the target at the loss of 5 wickets in 18.3 overs. Batsman Bharat scored unbeaten 59 runs and Deepak Jat contributed 16 runs. Bowling for RIS XI, Harsh Saini and Bhavya took 2 wickets each and Siddhant Sultania took 1 wicket. Man of the match was awarded to India, who scored 59 not out along with 3 wickets.
