Pakistan Cricket Board: Pakistan is worried about hosting the Champions Trophy. He has not been able to solve this matter yet. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has refused to send its team to Pakistan to participate in the tournament. After this, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has proposed to conduct it on hybrid model. There is no consensus on this yet. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not been able to get out of the Champions Trophy issue yet.
Keep an eye on the rejected players
Now a news has come out regarding Pakistan Super League (PSL). Pakistani teams are running after the players rejected in the mega auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise owners of PSL have submitted to the cricket board of their country the list of foreign players who were not sold in the recent IPL auction.

The franchises want the PCB to include these players in their draft for the upcoming auction. There is a possibility of a clash for the first time in the schedule of IPL and PSL to be held next year. IPL is the first choice of most foreign players and in such a situation PSL has no option but to select those players who could not make it to the Indian league.

PSL keeps an eye on these players
Many key players were not sold in the IPL auction. These players include players like David Warner, Kane Williamson, Adil Rashid, Alex Carey, Keshav Maharaj, Shai Hope, Donovan Ferrara, Daryl Mitchell, Jonny Bairstow and Akil Hussain. An insider told PTI, “The PSL team owners want the PCB to talk to the agents and board of these players to confirm their availability for PSL 2025.” Inspired by BCCI's decision, PCB is also planning to organize the player draft for PSL in London or Dubai.

PSL draft will be held in London or Dubai
The proposal to hold the player draft abroad for the 2025 season of PSL was discussed in the meeting between franchise owners and PCB officials. The PSL Joint Committee meeting was called to discuss the preparations and schedule for next year's PSL. PLL franchises believe that the brand image of the league will improve if the draft is held in London or Dubai.
