Lucknow: Abhimanyu Easwaran continued his fine form with a brilliant century as Bengal drew with Uttar Pradesh on their final day of the Ranji Trophy on Monday. Easwaran, who had started the day on 78, scored his 27th first-class century – his fifth in the last nine innings – as Bengal declared their second innings at 254/3 and set UP a target of 274 runs. Despite the initial setbacks, the hosts held on for a draw thanks to a strong century (106 not out) from Priyam Garg. Bengal scored three points on the basis of first innings lead, while Uttar Pradesh had to be content with one point.
