Three options before ICC
1. The entire tournament should be held in Pakistan
The first option before the ICC is to organize the entire tournament in Pakistan, but there is still doubt about the Indian team coming to Pakistan.
2. Hybrid Model
If the Indian team does not go to play Pakistan, then the ICC can adopt a hybrid model like the Asia Cup. In this, India's matches can be held in UAE or Sri Lanka.
3. The tournament is held in another country
If the PCB does not agree to the hybrid model, then the ICC can organize the Champions Trophy in another round. Although officially the host of the tournament will be Pakistan.

BCCI will have to answer by the end of this month
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has just orally sought permission from the Government of India to send Team India to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, but BCCI will have to give a written reply to the Pakistan Cricket Board by the end of this month. Will Team India come to Pakistan to play the tournament or not? For this, BCCI will write a letter to the Government of India and after that the reply will come, the whole picture will be clear.

The difficulty for ICC is that it has only three months left to organize the tournament. In such a situation, ICC has also asked BCCI to officially tell it whether Team India will go to Pakistan or not, because in case the Indian team does not go to Pakistan, ICC will have to think about other options as well.
Tournament schedule will be released on November 11
According to sources, ICC will release the complete schedule of the Champions Trophy on November 11. However, the venue of the matches will not be released yet, because it is not decided where Team India will play in this tournament.
Indian team matches proposed in Lahore
Earlier, PCB has sent the proposed schedule to ICC. Under this, the tournament will start from February 19 and all the matches of the Indian team are scheduled in Lahore. India's first match will be against Bangladesh on 20 February, New Zealand on 23 February and Pakistan on 01 March.
PCB in trouble… Stadium not yet ready for tournament
The stadiums where the Champions Trophy matches will be played have not been fully prepared yet. Pakistan had given the ICC a deadline of December 31, but now the PCB has said that the reconstruction of the stadium will be completed by January. However, if there is any further delay then technically ICC can shift this tournament somewhere else.
