Pakistan vs England 1st Test: The three-Test series between Pakistan and England will be played in October. Now Pakistan has announced its squad for the first Test match of this series. Shan Masood has been made the captain of the team. At the same time, Saud Shakeel has been given the responsibility of vice-captaincy. The first Test match between the two teams will be played in Multan from 7-11 October. Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has returned to Pakistan’s 15-member team. Afridi was dropped from the second and final Test against Bangladesh earlier this month due to poor form.
Noman Ali got a place in the Test squad
37-year-old spinner Noman Ali has returned to the team for the first Test match against England. He did not get a chance in the series against Bangladesh. He has replaced Khurram Shahzad, who is injured. The Pakistani team recently lost the Test series against Bangladesh 0-2. Then Abrar Ahmed failed to perform well for Pakistan. On the other hand, Noman has taken 47 wickets in 15 Test matches so far. While Kamran Ghulam and Mohammad Ali, who performed well in domestic cricket, have not been selected in the team.

The players selected for the first Test match against England have been withdrawn from the Champions One-Day Cup playoffs so that they can be given some rest before the series. All the players will gather in Multan on 30 September. The training camp will start from 1 October.
