A 10-day night tennis ball cricket competition started from Friday at the Dussehra ground located near Goi village. Former cabinet minister and Kasrawad MLA Sachin Yadav started the competition at 7.30 pm. During this, Assembly President Youth Congress Sendhwa, former Sarpanch Sildar Solanki, Convener Porlal Kharte, Amit Gurjar etc. were present. Former minister and Kasrawad MLA Yadav, while congratulating the players, said that sports keeps a person physically and mentally healthy. He also batted for some time and hit a lot of shots.
Organizer Sildar Solanki of Goi Ekta Cricket Club said that 32 teams are participating in the competition. Each match will be of 8 overs. The semi-final and final matches will be of 10 overs each. 4 matches will be played every day from 6 pm onwards. Teams from Khargone Barwani and Nandurbar, Jalgaon and Dhulia districts of Maharashtra are participating in this competition. Man of the match will be selected in each match and he will be honored with a trophy. The bat will be awarded as the Man of the Series award. A prize of Rs 31 thousand will be given to the winning team and Rs 15 thousand 555 to the runner-up team by Arun Yadav, former cabinet minister and former state president Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee. The competition will end on 2 December.
