Deepti Sharma gave the first success to Team India in the form of Georgia Plimmer. Radha Yadav took maximum four wickets for Team India. Apart from Radha Yadav, Deepti Sharma took two wickets. Team India had to score 260 runs in 50 overs to win this match.
Team India's start to chase the target was disappointing and three of the team's batsmen returned to the pavilion with a score of just 26 runs. No batsman could stay at the crease for long. The entire Indian team was reduced to just 183 runs in 47.1 overs. Radha Yadav played the highest innings of 48 runs for Team India. Apart from Radha Yadav, captain Saima Thakor scored 29 runs.
Lee Tahuhu gave the first success to the New Zealand team. For New Zealand, Lee Tahuhu and Sophie Devine took maximum three wickets each. The third and decisive match of the series between the two teams will be played on Tuesday i.e. 29th October at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from 1:30 pm.
