Amidst the heated debate going on in the Parliament, MPs from all the parties will now be seen hitting fours, sixes and taking wickets on the cricket field. Actually, Sunday is going to be a very special day for the MPs, because on 15th December, these MPs will be seen playing cricket together in the National Stadium.
All the political rivals will be seen showing their mettle in the cricket match being held between the Lower House (Lok Sabha) versus the Upper House (Rajya Sabha) under the banner of anti-drug and TB-free India campaign. Anurag Thakur confirmed that opposition leader Rahul Gandhi and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will also be contacted and may join Team 11 of the lower house.

This means that amidst the ongoing turf war in Parliament, members of the ruling party will play as a team on the field with opposition members. There is a lot of discussion on this topic in the Parliament and former Union Minister and cricket lover Anurag Thakur is the brain behind organizing this cricket match.
This is an open invitation for all MPs and Rahul Gandhi can also join this team. Among the MPs, the highest demand is being made for those MPs who have been cricketers in the past. Yusuf Pathan will be part of the team in the lower house.
