After the stipulated 20 overs, both the teams had scored 144 runs for 7 wickets. In the Super Over, Toyam Hyderabad scored only 4 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. In reply, Manipal Tigers won the match in a stormy manner by scoring 9 runs in 3 balls. Phil Mustard and Manoj Tiwari opened the innings for Manipal Tigers after winning the toss and electing to bat at the Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu. The pair added only 20 runs for the first wicket before Manoj Tiwary was dismissed by Isuru Udana after scoring 9 runs from 8 balls. After this the team reached the score of 38/3 in 6 overs. Obus Pienaar could score only 11 runs in 10 balls. Angelo Perera (18) showed some aggression in the middle but was clean bowled by Nuwan Pradeep.

Thisara Perera played a brave innings in the middle and remained unbeaten on 48* off 27 balls, helping his team reach a total of 144/7 in 20 overs. No other batsman could even reach double digits in this innings. Bipul Sharma (2/20) and Gurkeerat Singh (2/24) were the most successful among the bowlers for Toyam Hyderabad. Nuwan Pradeep and Isuru Udana took one wicket each in the innings.
Chasing the target of 145, Chadwick Walton and George Worker opened the innings for Toyam Hyderabad. On the score of 19, Walton (15) was dismissed by Rahul Shukla.
