Kagiso Rabada Fastest 300 Test Wickets: Kagiso Rabada created history in the first Test being played between South Africa and Bangladesh at Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada became the fastest bowler to take 300 wickets in terms of balls in the history of Test cricket. Rabada overtook stalwarts like former South African fast bowler Dale Steyn and former Pakistani pacer Waqar Younis.

Earlier this record was held in the name of Pakistan's Waqar Younis, who had completed 300 Test wickets in 12602 balls. Now Rabada did the feat of taking 300 wickets in 11817 balls. Whereas former South African fast bowler Dale Steyn had completed 300 Test wickets in 12605 balls. At the fourth position in this list is former South African fast bowler Allan Donald, who had completed 300 Test wickets in 13672 balls.

11817 balls – Kagiso Rabada (South Africa)
12602 balls – Waqar Younis (Pakistan)
12605 balls – Dale Steyn (South Africa)
13672 balls – Allan Donald (South Africa).

Rabada plays all three formats for Africa

Let us tell you that Kagiso Rabada is a fast bowler who plays all three formats for South Africa. So far he has played 64 Tests (excluding South Africa-Bangladesh Test), 101 ODI and 65 T20 International matches. He made his international debut in 2014 through T20.

While bowling in 116 innings of Test, he has taken 299 wickets at an average of 22.08 and strike rate of 39.4, in which his match best has been 13/144. Apart from this, in 99 innings of ODI, Rabada has taken 157 wickets at an average of 27.77, in which his best has been 6/16. In the remaining 65 innings of T20 International, the African pacer has taken 71 wickets at an average of 27.15, in which his best has been 3/18.
