Three girls from Ichkela, a pre-matric girls hostel operated in Jashpur district, performed well in the state level school sports competition 2024-25 Women Under-17 held in Ambikapur. After this good performance, three players from the silver medal winning team were selected for the National Team. Women's cricket team under 17.
