Jammu. In the Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy, hosts Jammu and Kashmir defeated Nagaland by an innings and 203 runs. The match took place in the sports ground of Jammu University.
Batting first, Jammu and Kashmir scored 557 runs. Yawar Hussain scored 159 runs and Arnav Gupta scored 169 runs, while Kamran Iqbal scored 96 runs. In response, Nagaland team could score only 159 runs in the first innings.
In bowling, Mujtaba Yusuf took five wickets for Jammu and Kashmir. While playing follow on, Nagaland team collapsed for 195 runs. Vishal and Mujtaba took three wickets each. Jammu and Kashmir won the match by 203 runs.
