Varanasi. District level cricket competition was held on Tuesday at Broacha ground of BHU. In the semi-finals, Cutting Memorial Jai Cricket Academy from Varanasi Cricket Association entered the final by defeating Jayanarayan Ghoshal Cricket Academy by seven wickets.

Batting first, Jai Narayan Ghoshal Cricket Academy scored 146 runs at the loss of ten wickets. Ryan Habib scored 29 runs playing 60 balls and Aditya Raj scored 22 runs playing 44 balls. Rishabh took 4 wickets. In reply, the batsmen of Cutting Memorial Jai Cricket Academy achieved the target at the loss of three wickets. Sumit scored unbeaten 49 while Yash contributed 39 runs. Ayaan Rahman took only one wicket while two wickets were run out. Umpiring was done by Anil Kushwaha and Vinod Bind. The scorer was Samrat Singh.
