Inter college cricket competition at Kalpa Stadium, two matches held on the third day

Reckong Peo (Kinnaur). On the third day of Himachal Pradesh University Inter-College Cricket Championship men's category, there was a match between HPU PG Center Shimla and Technical University Shimla at Kalpa Stadium. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, PG Center Shimla team set the target of 236 runs in 20 overs, thanks to the brilliant innings of 120 runs by captain Yogesh Sharma. While chasing the target, Technical University team was all out after scoring 132 runs in 15.3 overs. Technical University batsman Atul played a brilliant unbeaten inning of 64 runs, but no batsman could support him at the other end. PG Center Shimla won the match by 103 runs. After lunch break, the second match took place between College of Excellence, Sanjauli and University of Legal Studies, Shimla. Sanjauli team batted first and scored 152 runs losing 2 wickets, but University of Legal Studies Shimla team could not achieve the target and Sanjauli team won the match. Media incharge Reckong Peo College Prof. Shanta Kumar told that this competition will end on October 25.
