There are some rules of this tournament which make it more interesting. In this tournament only power hitting is emphasized. The rules of this tournament are also similar to street cricket to some extent. For example, even if 5 players of a team of 6 players are out, the sixth player will continue to play.
The rules of this tournament are as follows-
- Matches are played between teams of six players, with a maximum of five overs for each team. However, in the final match, each team will bowl 5 overs, compared to 8 balls in normal matches.
- Except for the wicketkeeper, each member of the fielding team must bowl one over, while wides and no-balls will result in 2 runs.
- If 5 overs are finished before 5 wickets fall, the last batsman will continue to bat and the fifth batsman will be placed as the runner. The batsman who is not out has to remain on strike forever and when he is out, the innings ends.
- If 5 overs are not completed before 5 wickets fall, the last batsman bats and the fifth batsman is placed as the runner. He is always on strike. The innings ends when the sixth wicket falls.
- Batsmen have to retire at 31, but can come back when all other batsmen have been out or retired.
