Cricket is the biggest sport in India. This is the reason why wherever Indian players play, that tournament or that league becomes very famous. IPL is one of them. Meanwhile, a big announcement has been made. Indian players may soon be seen playing in a league whose rules are very similar to street cricket. This league is none other than Hong Kong Cricket 6. Big players like MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar have also played in this league at one time. Hong Kong Cricket itself has given this information through its social media.

When will this league be played

Hong Kong 6 will be held from 1 to 3 November at Tin Kwang Road Recreation Ground. A total of 12 teams will participate in this tournament. Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2024 is going to be the 20th season of this tournament. This tournament was last played in the year 2017. Now it has returned after seven years. Seven years ago i.e. in 2017, the South African team had won this tournament.

This tournament, which will be played for three days, will start at 8:30 am. The matches will be played at 6:00 pm. Tickets for the tournament have also been released. Tickets will cost $150 on the first day, $250 on the second day and $350 on the third day. The ticket price for all three days is $580.

How will the rules be?

The Indian squad for this tournament can be announced soon. Talking about the rules of this tournament, only 6 players from a team can play in the matches played during this tournament. Apart from this there will be 6 over matches. It will be necessary to use four bowlers. The grounds are also quite small. If five wickets fall before completion of 6 overs, the last remaining batsman will continue to bat and the fifth out batsman will play the role of runner only. The last remaining batsman will always take strike. The batsman will have to retire as 'not out' after reaching his personal score of 50 runs. These are some of the rules that make it like street cricket.
