'Fans should also feel proud'
Before the home series against West Indies, the Harmanpreet-led Indian team will tour Australia, where it will play a three-match ODI series from December 5 to 11. Harmanpreet said that wearing the jersey of the Indian team is always special, because a lot of hard work has to be done to achieve it. She said, 'I want Indian fans to also feel proud wearing this jersey.'
Since appointing Adidas as its kit sponsor, India has tried to keep its jersey updated at frequent intervals. India wore special kits for the Men's ODI World Cup last year and the T20 World Cup earlier this year. The men's team also celebrated India's T20 World Cup victory in Mumbai. Wore a kit specially designed for the bus parade. The training kit of the Indian team is also a point of attraction. The white polo and blue collar jersey that the Indian team is using for training sessions and media interactions in Australia has become a favorite of the fans.
