Indian Women National Cricket Team vs Sri Lanka Women National Cricket Team, ICC Women's T20 World Cup, 2024 12th Match Scorecard: The 12th match of the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup was played between Indian women's national cricket team vs Sri Lanka women's national cricket team today i.e. on 9 October. This match between the two teams was played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. In the 12th match of the tournament, Team India has defeated Sri Lanka by 82 runs. Team India scored 172 runs after losing three wickets in 20 overs. On behalf of Team India, captain Harmanpreet Kaur played the best inning of 52 unbeaten runs. During this brilliant innings, Harmanpreet Kaur hit eight fours and one six. Apart from Smriti Mandhana, Smriti Mandhana scored 50 runs.
Ama Kanchana and Chamari Athapaththu gave the first major success to the Sri Lankan team by running out Smriti Mandhana. For Sri Lanka, Ama Kanchana and Chamari Athapaththu took the maximum of one wicket each. Sri Lankan team had to score 173 runs in 20 overs to win this match. This was a very important match for both the teams.

The Sri Lankan team, which came to chase the target, had a disappointing start and three of the team's batsmen returned to the pavilion for just six runs. The entire Sri Lankan team was reduced to just 90 runs in 19.5 overs. For Sri Lanka, Kavisha Dilhari played the highest innings of 21 runs. Apart from Kavisha Dilhari, Anushka Sanjeevani scored 20 runs. Renuka Singh Thakur gave the first success to Team India.
For Team India, Asha Shobhana and Arundhati Reddy took maximum three wickets each. Apart from Asha Shobhana and Arundhati Reddy, Renuka Singh Thakur took two wickets. Team India's next match will be played with Australia women's cricket team on Sunday i.e. 13th October at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah at 7.30 pm.
