India Test Record at Kanpur: Kanpur has a special place in the history of Indian cricket. Green Park Stadium is the same place where Team India defeated Australia for the first time in Test cricket. India played its last match at this stadium against New Zealand in the year 2021, which was a draw. Team India's last win at Green Park ground also came against New Zealand. India won the match played in 2016 by 197 runs.
Currently, it is rainy season in Kanpur and there is a high possibility of the first three days of the Test match against Bangladesh getting washed away by rain. In such a situation, even if the match is cancelled, India's streak of not losing for 41 years will continue unabated.
